GMAPS Inspection & Survey Services Pte Ltd (GISS) provides ship inspections and survey services to the shipping community in Singapore and in the region.
GISS is authorised by Panama Maritime Authority to conduct Annual Safety Inspections (ASI) for Panama-registered ships in Singapore and the region.
It is also appointed as a Surveyor to Panama Marine Survey Certification Service Inc. (PMSCS) and Global Shipping Bureau Inc (GSB). GISS is authorised to conduct statutory inspections/surveys and certify statutory compliance for Panama-registered vessels in Singapore.
GISS is an approved marine surveyor for PUB, Singapore's national water agency, to certify the seaworthiness of vessels and recreational craft in the marina barrage.
With a core team of professional marine surveyors comprising Master Mariners and Marine Engineers, GISS is well placed to provide the following services:

Master Mariner. Specialised in mercantile marine matters. Former Head of Singapore Registry of Ships, and examiner for masters and mates. Licensed Swedish Club Academy Trainer for Maritime Resource Management. Safety Inspector & Casualty Investigator for Panama-registered vessels.
CHUA Teck Khuay
Chief officer on bulk carriers, car carriers, container vessels & log carriers. Experience in commercial chartering and preparing for vessel dry docking, surveys and ship inspections.
Thi Ha MYINT THEIN
Conducts statutory surveys, ISM and ISPS audits and Panama ASI inspections. Served as Chief Officer, Dynamic Position In-charge, and Port Captain. As a Port Captain, took charge of the ISM and ISPS internal/external auditing for fleet vessels, monitored fleet movements and vessel seaworthiness.
